On 04 March 2026, HABADA’s Executive Director, Abel Amaral, held a courtesy meeting with Ms. Funmi Balogun, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Timor-Leste, and Ms. Raja Azwa Petra, Senior Human Rights Advisor. The meeting aimed to introduce HABADA’s work, including its initiatives in monitoring, advocacy, and policy analysis on police governance and community security.
The meeting took place at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office, UN House, Dili, Timor-Leste.
